Mr. Scherder is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Compressus Inc. He is a CPA with a BS in Accounting from the University of Missouri. He has over 35 years of business and finance experience.
Mr. Scherder has experience running a small business as well as serving as an executive in a Fortune 500 company.
During his career at Peabody, he held numerous management positions, including CFO of Eastern Associated Coal Corp., and VP of Taxes and Financial Support for Peabody Holding Company and Controller of Eastern Division. Previously, he was a manager for Price Waterhouse and Co. in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Scherder currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Missouri Management Advisory Board and the Congressional Award Foundation. He is a member of the Davenport Society and the Jefferson Club at the University of Missouri.
