Mr. Willis has worked for over 30 years in the risk capital marketplace. He has wide experience in identifying attractive business opportunities in many industries, as well as structuring and financing them in creative ways that benefit all parties. His experience includes a wide range of industries that include financial, real estate, energy and healthcare fields. He was a senior advisor to Galen Capital Corporation which is a merchant banking firm headquartered in McLean Virginia. He also was the original Principal that founded Galen Corporation Securities, Inc; a broker dealer subsidiary of the firm.
Mr. Willis is the founder of Investors First Companies. In one of his various capacities, he was a formal and informal advisor to the president of a rapidly rising oil and gas exploration and development company that successfully IPO’d in December 2004. He retired from day-to-day involvement at the end of 2003.
Currently, Mr. Willis is the co-managing member and co-founder of the family of Penn Companies that specializes in the healthcare industry. The primary focus of Penn has been in the medical diagnostic field providing diagnostic testing, teleradiology and reading services. As owner/operators, Penn has developed a reputation in it’s marketplace for providing exceptional patient care and quality diagnostics, while generating some of the highest profit margins in the industry.
Mr. Willis graduated with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He and his wife, Susan live in Alexandria, Virginia.
